Valley Stray Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue organization. None of our members make any profit in exchange for the hard work we do saving stray and dumped dogs and cats in our rural area. We are completely run by fosters and volunteers that share the same passion for animals as we do. Thank you for your consideration in helping us stay open and able to save even more.

I agree to perform volunteer work for Valley Stray Rescue. In doing so, I agree to behave in a professional and courteous manner while representing Valley Stray Rescue at any public event and/or while wearing Valley Stray Rescue attire that includes our name or logo. I understand that my failure to do so may result in my immediate termination as a volunteer.

I understand that my services are provided strictly on a volunteer basis, without pay or compensation of any kind, and without liability of any kind for Valley Stray Rescue. All services I perform shall be at my own risk, and I understand that no medical insurance or workers’ compensation coverage is provided for me as a volunteer. I recognize that by performing in-service volunteer duties there exists a risk of injury including, but not limited to, physical harm to my person caused by animals or equipment. I also understand that the animal(s) in my control are my responsibility, and I shall keep them safe and under control at all times in order to prevent harm to the animal, other animals, or persons.

On behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives and executors, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Valley Stray Rescue, its agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, or demands of any nature or cause; including costs and attorney fees incurred or sustained by me in connection with the same, based on damages or injuries which may be incurred or sustained by me in any way connected with performing services for Valley Stray Rescue. Such damages or injuries include but are not limited to those caused by animal bites, accidents, or injuries.

I understand that public relations are an important part of volunteering with Valley Stray Rescue. On behalf of myself, my heirs, personal representatives, and executors, I grant permission for use of any photographs of myself for promotion or public relations.
